I'm turning heads looking out of windows Sending notes on birds and little spiders what you don't know might not kill ya but what you do might save your life what you don't know might not kill ya but what you do might save your life When we came down, I was spun around by what we found to be we don't know nothing here, it's all just a mystery I'm heading deep into the forest following the tracks of mad explorers I know the answer's out there to anything your mind can dream I know the answer's out there to anything your mind can dream When we came down, I was spun around by what we found to be we don't know nothing here, it's all just a damn tragedy

I was driving straight through Texas on the look out for a solid breakfast before I even pulled the car over you were in crying on my shoulder you said that life was a son of a bitch and leaned in close to thank me for the lift the only thing I thought was "what the hell is going on?" cause with looks like that you're a trigger on a hand grenade with a mind like that you're holding all cards to be played but I got the keys and I've got the hard cash there's nothing more I've ever wanted than to take you somewhere fast Driving right up on through Illinois tuning in looking for a little noise when the car broke down somewhere south of North Dakota pulling hard on rum and cola holding out for California Striking matches pulling on embers thinking back and trying to remember the last time I saw so many stars half drunk and sleeping in my car we made a wish on every single one of em held it true to the rising of the sun and when the last one left we held our hands and held our breath it was all we had a little ball of burning hope all our lives it always seemed to go up in smoke but no we're here lying in the middile of the road well I'm sick on tired of running its time we found a little something Hiking west on roads our thumbs out cold swapping miles for a tank of gas and an extra load when we crossed the bridge running out out Washington out feet were numb, our voices sung, let's plant our heart in Oregon

Forest Fire 03:39
I was thinking of out mixed up affairs how the forest fire doesn't match the chairs we we all twisted, smashed up on gin two baby dolls puking in the gym you were all a madness strung out on life how you took it all and didn't think twice now you're gone but before you leave me there's something I need to know did you ever love me once long ago I need to know You called me June Bug Sally and I called you St.Tom how we rolled all night laughing in the lawn I was all a quiver, shivering out of my skin begging take these lips of mine and let me in you were so gentle taking me apart it never felt so good to have a broken heart now you're gone but before you leave me there's something I need to know did you ever love me once long ago I need to know
